What is a frameless motor?
Frameless Torque Motors (Frameless Torque Motors) are permanent magnet synchronous motors that are the active torque and speed generating portion of a conventional motor, but without shafts, bearings, housings, or tail clips. Frameless motors consist of only two parts: a rotor and a stator. The rotor is usually an internal component, consisting of a rotating steel toroidal assembly with permanent magnets, mounted directly on the machine shaft. The stator is an external component with steel laminations and copper windings around the teeth, which generate electromagnetic forces that are tightly mounted inside the machine housing.
What are the advantages?
1、High Performance: High efficiency, high power density, and rapid acceleration.
2、Low Inertia: Enables faster response speeds.
3、Precision Control: Closed-loop operation with position feedback.
4、Compact Design: Reduced weight and minimized installation space.
5、High Compatibility: Adapts to integration with various housings, feedback devices, and gearboxes.
